To obtain a real estate license you will need to complete the Basic I Pre-License Course which will give you the 90 hours you need to sit for the Provisional Sales Associate State Examination.
You will need to complete a background check required by the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission. This can be done before or during the course, but will need to be turned into the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission before you can sit for the State Examination. The following will be turned into the Commission along with $60:
- Application for Real Estate License
- Fingerprints (May be done at a local police or sheriff department)
Once you have completed the Basic I Pre- License Course you will receive your certificate which you will need to send to the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission.
After all of your applications have been turned into the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission, the Commission will at that point email or mail you a candidate number, instructions and a website link to schedule your state examination.
- State Exam is taken through PSI (www.psiexams.com)
- State Exam is $60
After passing the Provisional Sales Associate State Examination, you will then be able to pay the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission for your Oklahoma real estate license.
- Provisional Sales Associate License is $75
- Active license will be sent to your broker.
Within one year after you receive your Provisional Sales Associate License, you will need to complete a 45 Hour Basic II Post License course.
